SilverGuard’s 2023 Highlights

2023 felt like a a bit of a whirlwind for us. In among the usual juggling and balancing act of family, home and our children, we were super busy at SilverGuard too. Here is a quick run down of some of our 2023 achievements.

We continued our great run of award wins across our product range, including a coveted Mother & Baby Award for our Supima Cotton Fitted Cot Bed Sheet. Some other award highlights include:

New offices for us and new retail platforms for you

We also took the bold move of moving into proper offices in 2023 – no more hot desking on the dining table or the shed at the end of the garden! We also expanded where you can get your hands on our products, not only by growing our online and Amazon offering, but also opening a pop-up shop at our local city farm, showcasing our products at the Baby Show in London Excel and being stocked by the amazing online sustainability retailer Veo too.

SilverGuard products were also showcased in some great articles in 2023, and you can catch up on them here if you missed them. Both the Daily Mail and Top Sante magazine covered our Supima Cotton pillowcases, while influencers like Mackies Moments and Bee the Brave gave some great and honest feedback about our products too.

Sustainability matters too

We also haven’t shied away from making sure our operations as sustainable as possible, and are mindful to try and minimise our impacts as much as possible.

To this end we launched our Second Life Collection programme for SilverGuard products that may not be perfect but are perfectly functional. Instead of being destined for landfill or incineration, these pieces are given a second chance to be sold and used. We also made the Love Stock Hate Waste pledge. This means that we pledge never to purposefully damage stock. All our useable, returned or surplus stock will be donated, resold or recirculated in some way which benefits society.

We also became a trusted supplier of sustainable hotel bed linen and towels with Hotel Suppliers, as well as maintaining our Skin Health Alliance accreditation.
