The Mother & Baby Awards 2023 – Winners Announced

On Tuesday 22nd November, Mother & Baby hosted a glittering awards dinner to announce their 2023 winners. The team at SilverGuard are pleased to announce that our Supima Cotton Fitted Cot Bed Sheet won Bronze in the ‘Best Bedding’ category. We are absolutely thrilled with this result, the Mother & Baby Award is the longest running, most recognised and trusted award in the baby industry. To have been tried and tested by a parent panel and receive the thumbs up is truly mind-blowing.

What exactly makes our cot bed sheet so unique? Read on to find out more.

Supima Cotton: all our bedding products are made using soft, dense and absorbent Supima cotton for its premium quality and plush feel.

Safe & Kind to Skin: Like all our bedding products, SilverGuard fitted cot bed sheets are made from a blend of Supima cotton and IONIC+ silver thread. Studies have found unwashed sheets had several thousand times more bacteria than a toilet seat. As your bed linen comes into contact with your skin for around eight hours a day, particularly your face, traditional fabrics collect bacteria, only to transfer back onto your skin. SilverGuard bedding is kind to your by tackling redness and skin irritations as the silver thread technology eliminate bacteria which can cause these irritations. Enhanced Fit with Wide Grip Elastic: To make your baby’s sleep environment as safe as possible it is generally accepted that the safest sleeping environment is a fitted sheet on a firm mattress with no other bedding of soft toys in the cot. SilverGuard fitted cot bed sheets have wider grip elastic which goes all the way around the sheets to secure sheets and prevent movement during the night.

Thermoregulating: single-ply Supima® allows airflow and breathability. This is further enhanced by the thermoregulating properties of the silver, allowing for sleep at the ideal temperature, every night, all year round.
